Galician Journal of Marine Resources

Scope:

The objective of this journal is to publish original, high-quality technical documents, which are relevant to the management and exploitation of renewable marine resources (including aquaculture) in Galicia and other similar areas.

The journal is structured into several series, none of which have a set periodicity. All of the documents will be published in electronic format as soon as they are accepted and will be compiled in printed volumes.

Series:

Data. Includes unprocessed data and statistics regarding the environment and marine resources of Galicia.
Monographs and Manuals. Includes bibliographic compilations on topics of interest to Galicia, as well as manuals prepared to assist scientists, technicians, administrators and companies in exploiting marine resources and preserving the marine environment.
Balances and Perspectives. Includes detailed analysis of the results of programmes regarding the research and management of resources and the environment (only technical aspects), lines and projects of research and development, as well as the current state of knowledge on topics within the scope of the journal, including future prospects.
Articles, Technical Reports and Notes. Includes research papers, especially those centred on topics of interest to the marine resources of Galicia.

Quality of documents:

The quality and scientific relevance of the published documents is guaranteed by means of their evaluation. All documents will be evaluated by at least two evaluators.

The publishing committee, which has a scientific-technical profile, is responsible for ensuring the correct evaluation of the published documents.
